CD not being read.

My friend just burned a CD and I tried to play it on my computer and it just would not open . It says that no CD was found.

But if she takes that same CD and puts it on her computer it will play it just fine..

what could be the problem ..my computer ??

Are you trying to play a CD-RW on a CD-ROM ?

that's right ....it's a burned CD (CD-R ) that it's being played on a CD-ROM

Check your device manager for any errors.
Does your CD-ROM play other disks other than this burned cd ?

Everything seems OK on the Device Manager

The CD should play automatically but its not .

So I go to the CD Drive and double click on it and I get and it tells me to insert a disk intro Drive D:

ok, does it play any other cd's ?
