Default CD/DVD-RW drive registry problem

ok alright so I got a CD and I'm trying to import it into iTunes, right?

well all of a sudden my computer decides it doesn't understand the CD drive :freak: . So I investigate and find out there's something wrong with the registry...

(the LITE-ON is an external CD/DVD-RW drive, which also concerns me because it shows the same message.)

I'd REALLY appreciate ANY help.

thx in advance

(things I've done:
- Error checked
- Virus/Spyware all that stuff checked
- Opened case and reinforced ribbon cabe)
