Default cd/dvd drive help!

I got on my computer today and noticed that when I went to look at my cd/dvd drives in my computer they weren't there. I then went to computer management and then to device manager and looked at my cd/dvd drives there and it had a yellow circle with a black exclamation mark on each drive. I right clicked one of them and went to properties and in the device status window it said "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)". I don't know what could have done this. Can anyone help me so I can use my cd/dvd drives again. thanks for the help.

Go back to your Hardware Manager and uninstall all the drives, then restart your computer. Windows should pick up the drive and install a default driver for it, allowing it to be usable again.
