CD drive randomly stopped showing up on laptop

My CD/DVD combo drive is suddenly not under "My Computer". But when I go under system properties it shows a CD drive but there's a yellow triangle over it. When I update driver it says the best one is installed. Its a dell and they didn't offer any optical drivers that I saw. Any ideas??

is it recognized in the BIOS as CD/DVD?
word of suggestion dont buy dells
