I have a standard CD/R writer and it has worked great up untill a few days ago.
When I open up the tray the tray pops out and (by itself) closes.
But, the thing is, when I pop a CD in it, it will close, and the light will blink a few times and open again. But that's not all, it will close, and continue to open and then close for about 10-20 cycles. After I wait for it to read my disc, it will have a 50-50 chance either 1. Staying open and will not close, or 2. Close and read my disc like nothing is wrong.
I have excellent spyware protection from multiple programs, so I couldn't imagine it being a spyware issue.
This problem just started occuring a few days ago and I can't figure out what could be the problem with it!
