cd burner causing cds that skip

Are you using CD-RWs or CD-Rs? I had that problem with the CD-RWs that I had. They were only 4x compatible and kept skipping. I bought some TDK Music CD-Rs and they work great, burning @ 48x!

If you would like to try another burning software, Try "CDburnerxp Pro 3" This is a free software that I use and I think it works great. The only limitation is you cant copy a CD. But for testing it works great. And like Dan Deville says try using cd-r s I too have had trouble with CD-RWs
