I posted on this forum earlier this month about this problem:

http://www.techist.com/forums/f77/self-built-computer-spontaeously-crashed-now-won-t-post-184642/

Everything I tried didn't work, including what was recommended by the poster who said try replacing the cmos battery.

Since I had exhausted all my ideas, I took the computer to the Geek Squad. They looked at it for free and determined that the problem was I had a bad psu and half dead mobo. So I bought this psu: Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Power Supplies

and this mobo: Newegg.com - ASUS P5Q Deluxe LGA 775 Intel P45 Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards
as replacements. Total cost: 330.00.

The darn thing still won't boot up. So my problem now is that my chassis didn't come with a speaker nor did my new mobo so I can't troubleshoot it by listening to beeps. Where can I find a "beep speaker?"

Also where is the cmos battery on the p5k deluxe? I can't seem to find it.

Any local small computer shop has those speakers. They usually sell for $2.

The battery is just below the right tip of the blue PCI-E slot.
