I Just switched MOBOS from a MSI K7n420 PRO to a Abit Kg-7 Raid
The chip I'm using is a AMD XP 1600+
The problem is Before I easily had the chip clocked to 66/133/266 (133 FSB) on the old board. and running at 1403mhz
with this board (bios is latest rev)
It fails to load.. and just spins, no moniter beeps etc, If i try to run it at 133.. have to reset cmos and let it go back to 100
Should I just get a diff chip such as a palomino 2100 (max it supports) and hope for the best.. or does anyone have any ideas..
I've tried pulling and switching ram etc. Maybe I missed something. (I am currently just running it with the board, and a video card)
Any ideas on how to get it to boot at 133? (133 is the cpu's normal speed 100 is under clocked)
so i'm unsure of what to do
