So I've been doing some very very mild overclocking on my amd x2 4000+ processor with a 690G chipset coupled with a 350 Watt processor. Well I've been having issues with this computer for a couple of days, with and without overclocking -- sometimes it would act stable, sometimes it wouldn't. Now I'm at a point where when I turn it on I just face a black screen. I'm pretty sure it is not the power supply, because when I had switched it out with another, the problem still remained. If the CPU was damaged, then I'm sure it would make it a little bit further than where I am getting.
The only thing that I can think of was that the motherboard is damaged.
I have a case and power supply arriving in a few days, so if you people agree with me that the motherboard is really the only solution that makes sense I'll go ahead and buy a new one.
