Default Cannot get webcam to work!!!

Hello. I just recently purchased a Logitech Webcam Pro 5000 and I cannot get the darn thing to work at all.

Windows keeps saying it recongnizes the device and it is working properly but the Logitech software on this PC says there is no camera connected.... So I cannot take snap shots or record video / audio with it.

What the devil is the problem?

Do you have hyper-threading enabled? try disabling that and see if it makes a difference. That solved a problem i had with a webcam a long time ago. But it probably has nothing to do with your problem. But at least youll have something to do
