Default Cannot format


I am trying to format my main C: hard drive and I have done it before and it worked but now when I try, I get to putting the Windows disc into the CD Drive it loads and I do R for repair, but it says that it cannot continue because harddrive is not attached or something like that. Does anyone know what is wrong, please help I need to fix this ASAP.

If you're trying to reformat you dont want to press repair, do a fresh install then you should see the HD and you can delete the partition and reformat it.
