The System
I have a multiroom home audio-visual system (Opus Octopus) which transmits audio and visual signals from entertainment equipment (media centre PC, DVD player, tuner etc) in a central cupboard to rooms around the house. Triple phono cable connects the pieces of equipment into the system in the cupboard. From here to the rooms, CT100 co-axial cables transmit the video signals to TV points and cat5e cables transmit the audio signals to speakers in the ceiling.

The Problem
I have just bought a brand spanking new media centre PC and connected it into the system. The audio signals and TV picture from it transmit through fine but when trying to use it as a computer with documents and the internet etc the picture quality is not clear enough to read text.

The Solution????
Does any clever person out there know is there any way of boosting the signal to improve the quality of the picture or connecting the video signal from the media centre PC via the system with an HDMI signal?

I would appreciate any help/advice anyone can offer.
Thank-you
