i know the v8 has its own control knob but is it possible to connect it to a fan controller like the nzxt Sentry 2?

Yes you can. It should be a 4 pin fan, and should plug right in.

just so i dont get confused.... the 4 pins are supposed to plug into the motherboard for power so are u saying that the fan controller will provide the power itself because its (fan contorller) already got power?

the v8 supports 10w per channel and the v8 is 12w..

Hmm, I don't know about that 12W, but you do know it comes with its own controller eh.

The 4pin is yes, but not a molex, the little fan plug.

i dont think this will work.. i have the nzxt phantom tho so i can switch it with one of the fan controllers on the case cuz they support 20w per channel.. my plan was to use the sentry 2 for all the component fans and not case fans but **** happens just gotta roll with it
