Default Camera problem need to get it fixed as soon as possible

I have a problem with my 8 month vivitar 3615 camera.
The battery door underneath the camera will not stay closed I looked at the bottom latch that connects the door and it seem's like its just a little bit chiped off. does someone know where I can take my camera to say like wal-mart, target or bestbuy or get a digital camera repair kit for that specific camera ?

hmm, there wont be repair kit for specific cameras, but Universal may be applicable. do you still have the chipped off parts?

actually I don't have it at all..... I took my digital camera outside and I was taking a picture of my dog and the batterys came out and fell to the ground and ever since then I have to keep a rubber band around it now just to be able to use my camera. what type of universal kit did you have in mind ?

Universal repairing kit, like glue etc, that could work on every camera body.

as i though you still have the broken parts that joins the cover to the body, and you can use the glue to join them to fix it. see if you could find a stronger TAPE to stick it to the camera.
