Talking Buffer too Large FIX with VIA chipsets

Hello everyone - i made a wonderful discovery that could have prevented me from purchasing a new mobo, PSU, CPU and a few exchanges!!! LOL - I guess i can't complain now since i have a new computer!

With newer model boards that have the VIA chipset and are using the VIA 4-in-1 driver v.4.56, burning/reading DVD's may be a bit of a challenge (at least from what i experienced).

So, if you are trying to burn DVD's/CD's and are gettign "Buffer Too Large" error from nero, download the VIA 4-in-1 drivers VERSION 4.43. This will fix the problem!

Also, just as an FYI...
the new driver does not give you the advanced settings within the Device Manager to select either PIO or DMA mode... the 4.43 version puts that option back in.

I guess the only drawback is that the system may run a bit slower now... oh well - as long as i can burn my CD's!
