I recently purchased a new monitor as well as a new video card to continue playing tribes 1. (yes, i know it's an oldie but its also a goodie ) anyways, the monitor i purchased is a Samsung Syncmaster 943BW and the video card is a powercolor HD 2600 AGP XT 512. i used to have an ATI Radeon 9600SE AGP but when i tried it with the new monitor the graphics became choppy, only wth the game mind you, browsing and surfing the graphics were fine and no crashing or anything. So i installed the new video card and tried it and got the same error and now i'm at wits end. here is what i am running.

AMD AThlon 1.4ghz , 512 RAM, and the new card.

the error i get is : stop 0x00000050 ( 0xe31c5a22,0x00000000, 0xbf15eb8b, 0x00000001) atiok3x2.dll

thanks in advance

What are your card's temps while you're gaming? And what are they while you're just idling?

use RivaTuner to check; or ATiTool.
