BSOD and driver uninstallation

I recently reformatted my computer. After installing all of my games everything was fine. I then decided to install an VIA audio driver after I installed it, it restarted and I now get the BSOD. It boots in safe mode, but every time I try to uninstall the driver I get error 1917, also just as it's about to boot desktop my screen goes black and a monitor message appears and says it should be optimized for 1600x1050. Which it was as I was playing COD Ghosts, any suggestions?

I uninstalled it now and it runs fine. But I cannot find the right driver for my rig. It says there's an AMD HD audio there. How can I activate it?

I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it. After a few attempts I reliezed I had to uninstall the AMD audio drivers first.
