Default broken usb port

I have a broken USB outlet on my laptop, it still functions, but i think the prong is broken.

my question is, how hard is it to just repair the top broken USB (it is two usb ports stacked on top of each other) -- is it connected to the motherboard or is there a part i can order?

It's net to impossible to repair...if the system is still under warranty, have the company fix it, if not, just buy a un-powered USB hub for $20 and be done with it and have 3 extra USB ports whil you're at it
