Brand new pc today..HELP!!

Hi ive just had my spanking new custom base unit delivered.
it has no OS pre installed.....
the power is on and the fans are spinning,even the one on the graphics card
i have placed a boot disk in the floppy drive but
both the dvd and floppy drive have no lights(and show no signs of life)
also there is no beep on start up!


can anyone help me please?



do i need to flash the bios or cmos or somthing like that?

i just tryed a bios reset..still no luck

what would be the most common thing i could check if it got knocked in transit?

anyways. i would say try to clear the CMOS. and put a OS CD in the cd drive...hmm..something should appear on the monitor....

*Sighs* i wish i listened to you pzerofgh..i was to impatiant to get back to my games!

i phoned support..he said it proberly got knocked in transit
they will order a courier on monday to return it

i mean what could possibly be wrong!..i checked all the connections..they all look in place

how do i reset the cmos? and what would this do?..ive repackaged it now is it worth my time trying to solve this?

anyways are you running SLI?

you should have built your own...

i guess if you dont want any hassasle with it you might as well return it
