Okay I tried to upgrade my bios for my new processor, and now it stays on the computer logo for about 2hours. Then all it does is allow me to enter CMOS. I get the following error message:CMOS/GPNV Checksum Bad. Is my mobo completly messed up or is there any way of saving it?
I've already tried unplugging the power cable and taking the battery out. I've tried resetting the CMOS settings but it doesn't do anything. I can't even boot to my floppy to reload the factory bios settings.

You downloaded a BIOS update, off of Intel's website? You shouldn't really update/flash your BIOS until something is wrong with it. Otherwise, you should leave it as it is.
