hey guys. Got a question for yas if you think you can help me out.
Seems I got this annoying little booting problem. After I shut the PC off, and go to boot it up again, I get the following message after the Asus splash screen:
"Overclocking failed! Please enter setup to re-configure your system.
F1 to run setup
F2 to load default values and continue"
If I go into setup and leave with or without saving, it just doesnt boot, sits blank with the monitor powered off. If I load default values and continue it boots properly. But the next time I try to boot up its the same thing.
Now before you say anything about overclocking, I havent even touched a bios setting.
Something else.. Is I haven't flashed bios yet.. Would that be causing problems?
Anyhow I'll keep searching google to see if I get lucky, if not I'll try a bios flash if I can get the ol floppy drive in my closet to work in this pc lol.
edit1~ lol tried to flash bios. Floppy disk isnt big enough. bios file itself is 2Mb >.> gotta run to store tomorrow I guess ;p
if this cant be fixed i'll RMA it and get a different brand >.> mobo is no good if you cant save the BIOS.
