Boot problem.

I went to get on my desktop this morning and found that it was shutdown. I started it back up and it went through the boot process and got all the way to the Windows loading screen and flashed and restarted the boot process again. I've tried booting it in Safe Mode and it did the same thing. Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

Corrupt windows file?

If you have the windows CD it would be worth doing a repair install to see if that fixes your issue.

i had this exact problem last night. I figured i had a bad memory stick and took one out, problem solved. So you might want to test your memory.

Did you try Last Known Good configuration?
