Exclamation Bluescreen of Death - Caused by Nvidia Card

There is a thread with the EXACT problem that I have but it was closed. I'm not sure what to do in this situation, only thing I could think of was start a new thread.

Blue Screen of Death caused by installing NVIDIA Driver

This problem started yesterday while playing a first person shooter. I think the card physically died, but I'm hopeful that I'm wrong.

Everything is the same as the other thread:

Using A8JS with NVidea Go 7700
Using Windows 7
Has been working fine for months on windows 7
Can run windows after formatting, before the NVidea Driver is downloaded - but of course i'm stuck with 800x600 res, and no 3D acceleration.

I've even tried installing Ubuntu, but it wont even get past the installation without freezing, and has some funny meshed colours around the mouse pointer.

Try an older video driver. All of the newer 190 series of Drivers from Nvidia cause my PC to crash but it work Great with the older 180 series of Drivers.

Win 7 32-bit - NVIDIA DRIVERS 186.18 WHQL
Win 7 64-bit - NVIDIA DRIVERS 186.18 WHQL

Thanks, but no luck. Tried different drivers didn't work. I would assume that since Ubuntu didn't work, it's not driver related. So I guess it's time to start building a desktop. I'll use my laptop as a spare since its no good for 3D acceleration.

Unless anyone knows how to fix this. I would conclude that the card has died.
