Black borders around games

Hello, today I bought a pc copy of Star Wars BattleFront 2. I love the game and it works fine on my computer, however whenever I play there is this black border around the game, so what I am trying to say is the game will not expand to fit into my entire monitor. My computer model is the Toshibia Satellite C655-S5082. Please help and thank you.

Your in-game video settings may not be set to the resolution of your screen. I think Battlefront also has an overscan setting too.

Go into video settings of the game and play around with the settings, that should remedy the issue.

Also some old games like Diablo 2 have small resolutions and have not been made to be full screen on the modern day resolutions so some games you just have to play with the black screen around the game. =/
