This is a simple question: I just got my q6600 recently and i am pretty sure i bought the standard version, the q6600 2.4ghz, not the q6600 GO. Anyways in cpu-z it says Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz, im like ok thats normal. But if i look on it says the revision is GO not b3 or whatever. I thought a q6600 GO means the revision is GO and it would say that, but i bought the normal 2.4ghz q6600 and it says the revision is GO.
So am i mixed up a bit, if it says GO in the actual name does that have nothing to do with the revison being GO?

G0 is the stepping of the chip and is part of the name of the revision. It is not part of the name of the chip, though.

Hope that makes sense.

There is no normal q6600, just the G0 or the B3. You got the G0 and you should be proud of it. The G0 and B3 are the steppings of the CPU.

Ok that makes sense but i thought mine would have GO in the actually name, because ive seen some that has GO in the name, so why wouldnt mine?
