BIOS Question

I know how bios works, and so forth. The only question I have is thus:

I have a Dell Vostro 1500 Laptop. It currently has BIOS Version A00. There is an update on Dell Support to BIOS Version A06.

Now, my laptop is has been working fine for the last 2.5 years. Should I update it just for the sake of an old BIOS Version, or should I just ignore this?

I have Vista Home Premium on it atm. I want to update it to 7 Ultimate. Now, I'm sure there will be no problems, but just the BIOS question...

Should I?

As a laptop or general work computer I would only perform the update if it contained a specific fix I needed. If it ain't broke why fix it.
