bios freezing

Hello Community,

Hope this is in the right topic.

I am building a computer from spare parts that I have and a donated MoBo.

My problem is this, Right when i boot up it freezes right after it detects my processor. There are no post codes beeping, nor is there an error message displayed.

The bios version is phoenix v6

Ive attempted to run the setup utility by pressing the suggested keys (f1 and Del) to no avail.

It just freezes.

Ive removed the ram and tried other sticks, this didn't resolve the problem.

Well Im not sure what question to ask, maybe someone can guide me on what other info I should post.

run with only bare essentials. No floppy, only vid, HDD, etc. Also, may want to clear NVRAM but do it via jumper
