My computer froze and when I tried to restart it, it wouldn't load past the loading windows vista 32. When I ran the HP diagnostic it scanned the harddrive and gave me the error BIOHD-8. Can anyone tell me what this means?:
confused:

The point is BIOHD-8.
Can I solve that? Could anybody help me?
Regards

Note: Sorry but I don't understand the received warning...

It appears to be a hard drive issue specifically with HP.

I would try to run a chkdsk /r with the vista install disk from a command prompt.

You received the warning for necropsting in a old thread.

I dont understand? The hard drive is damaged. There is no way to repair it at all. You will have to go to the HP site and choose your location and from there find out how to contact their customer service.
