Default Is it bad to run a monitor like mine?

Hi there,
I got a ViewSonic A75f that has two broken wires inside its VGA cable. It's the red and the blue wire, now I only have a green tone. Is it bad if I run it like that? Can it damage the monitor after a while? It's working right now, but I only have green which doesn't mind me.

There should be no problem.......

You should fix it though....its very inexpensive

I suggest getting a vga extension cable.......
Slice off one end....
Open the monitor and solder out the old cable and put the new one it, dont forget to put anit-tug device on the mutilated extension cable fefore you install it.
Test your connections with a galvanometer to make sure that your are getting solid connections.

If the VGA Cable is directly attached to the monitor then I'd say that the monitor is already damaged.

But a lot of Viewsonic's have VGA wires that can be removed from the monitor, which means you can buy another one to replace it.

It's directly attached, but how could the monitor be damaged? And yeah, I'm buying just like a VGA connector so I can solder the wires, I know where that my cable is broken so...
