my buddy called me up yesterday because it's computer would only start up and hang on the Compaq logo POST screen.
i cleared the CMOS but that didn't change anything.
there were no beeps so i figured a PSU change was the next step.
it did work, but after the POST there was a crazy fast screen (about 3 lines) saying that the HD had been updated the system restarted and then booted into XP...
i know that he doesn't do anything for driers/updates because i am the one that does it and well, he only knows how to work his 3 programs on the computer and tha's it...i mean that is it.
just curious if anyone knows what that was. never encountered it before.
