This keeps happening once or twice a week and I dont know why. But its very annoying, menus are hard to use or when right clicking and some things wont show up. I do ctrl alt delete and dask manager says I still have around 1.6GB and my cpu isnt running over 1-4%. Is this memory or video card? I ran memtest when i first built the pc for a few hours till i got tired of waiting and stopped it passed everything at that time, I have a 7900gt video card. Its been doing this once in a while for the past few months.... my pc is only about 3-4 months old.

i havent tried, it doesnt happen all the time just once in a while after running a program like Photoshop or WE (Warcraft 3 Program), and a few others.

update video drivers and follow warez's guide or i will sum up some of the main things for you.

DOWNLOAD:
1. Ad-Aware SE
2. Spybot
3. HiJackThis
post the log in the hijack this logs section of TF to have some one analyse it
4. CCleaner
5. Avast Anti-Virus
Clear your msconfig with everything but your AV and Firewall (start > run > msconfig > startup tab > disable all but the abouve > apply > ok > restart computer)

well heres my hijackthis log... but im having the feeling its my video card, the more I read the more worried I get about the 7900 cards, my card is listed among the inferior ram and more likely to artifact of cards. Since my games sometimes insnatly exit games, and rare but a few times i get mysterious reboots from my pc, a sign of a bad video card according to the topic I read.

Also as a side note, for anyone with a 7900, when you run AcerView does your desktop flicker, like every time I run it, my desktop flickers anywhere from once to 3 times, flickering as in, theres these wierd clear lines that flicker anywhere on the desktop.

Nothing suspicous from what I see, since the fact I have tons of virus protection and a firewall or two.
