Ati problem

I just got and instaled a Radeon 9600xt to breath a little bit of life into my old computer. However now when ever I play video its all sorts of wierd colors. My guess is that this isnt a major problem but I just dont know were to start looking to fix it. Any help is apreciated.

Try installing new drivers first from ati.com or omegadrivers.com.

Yah, I did that right after I put the card in. However I just found out that some video plays and other dosent so mabye it just one file type.

some friends of mine have experienced problems with the 9600XT, make sure the video overlay settings are correct

i had the same problem, you need to turn down your hardware accelerator
