I bought a new TV. It's a Samsung 120Hz LCD. I hooked it up to my PC and started playing around with it. Have some questions about the ATI Control panel and 60Hz and 120Hz.
First question is the Hz. when I hook it up it states it's at 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz. Is it possible to get it to refresh at 120Hz? I'm new to this stuff and don't know how to do it. In the ATI control panel if I select the LCD TV in the Display Manager it shows the Refresh options and they only go up to 60Hz. Why? Is there a way to get it to show 120Hz?
Next I am going to post some screenshots to go along with my questions. If you see any settings I should change let me know.
Max reported refresh rate is 75Hz??? Why isn't it 120Hz? Also I can only select 60Hz, not 75Hz and 120Hz doesn't show up. So that is confusing
What is this LCD overdrive stuff all about?
I'm pretty bummed. I bought this TV in hopes to have better performance but nothing I hook up reports a refresh rate over 60Hz and I don't understand.
Thanks
