i just installed a new socket 370 (asus cusi-m) mobo in my old machine, because the old board has failed. Now, i'm trying to start up my machine and i'm receiving a beep code right after it loads the ide devices. it is: (all short)
three - very short pause - four - very short pause - four - very short pause - four - very short pause - and so on, continuously.
any ideas? i've tried unplugging every drive as well as switching/reseating/removing the ram, so those are pretty much cancelled out. there are no cards plugged in, either. just the mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
