ASUS CRW-5224a Problem

Having problem with the ASUS CRW-5224a not being recognized by Nero v5.5.8.2.

It is installed as a slave on IDE 1. OS is Windows 2000 with SP4.

Updated bios to 1.70, Changed the IDE to PIO and still nothing.

Any ideas of whats happening?

Thanks. I'm gonna uninstall Nero ROM and install Nero Express first to see if that might be the cause.

Second would be the Firmware. That post you sent me to said it came with 0.9 and they upgraded to 1.1. I installed the latest 1.7, wondering if that might be an issue also?

I have a few things to check. Let you know what happens.
