Apricorn drives removing encryption

Can I take one of these drives and use it as a regular external drive and not use the software or the encryption that came with it? It's a real hassle for me to use this drive on many computers with the software. I would rather use it as a straight external drive instead. Plug and go. So is this possible?

Assuming its just a standard HDD in the enclosure, I don't see why not unless they have some special controller or partition on it.
