Default any ideas on this problem welcome

any ideas on this problem welcome what would be causing this IT IS A DELL SX 270 SFF BASE UNIT

tower unit that arrived today. However, having just assembled it with my existing Dell components (keyboard, screen, speakers etc) I find that the writing/text is unreadable.The writing is very faint and half of each letter/character is missing.

Try adjusting these settings. You may also need to adjust your display settings (resolution/screen size).

looks fine to me... could be a problem with your moniter
