Default Another Hard Drive Problem, Partition table!

Hey there . I've got yet another problem with a computer of mine. I installed an 80Gig Hard drive into one of my older computers which originally had a 4 gig hard drive and windows 98 on it. The 80 gig hard drive only had Windows 98 on it, i'm not sure why or when i did it but i must have. In Dos it didn't recognise the disk as an 80 gig, but instead a 13 gig.. Which was weird. So i formatted the hard drive. Before that i went into fdisk and removed the partitions. so now i get the error in load "Invalid Partition Table, Cannot continue setup" IT wont let me get anywhere past that. Is there any way i can sort this problem out? Thanks!
