AMD XFX r9 280 noise problem

Hey guys,

I have a little problem with my rig.
I bought an Corsair h60 to silently cool my FX 6300, but now the graphic card is the one that makes the noise. When i play a graphicly intensive game like Far Cry 4, the noise goes up very fast. Is this normal for an XFX r9 280?

Btw. i am not using the stock fan of the 280, but a fan-controlled Aerocool Silent Fan.

I meant the fx 6300 is cooled with an Aerocool Silent Fan

Is it a buzzing/whining noise? If so, it could be cap-whine. Either deal with it or RMA the card if it's still under warranty.

What PSU do you have?
