AMD driver?

Hi all, I just finished setting up my new PC using an AMD X2 3800, and I was told by a friend to be sure to download the AMD driver. I checked the website but I'm not sure what he meant. Is there some type of AMD driver I need to setup? Any help is greatly appreciated.

also if you are using XP home make sure you have SP2 installed

Nope, XP pro with SP2. Any other things you can suggest? This is my big switch to AMD, but so far everything seems to be running great.
