Ok so here is the deal. I just finished formatting my computer and finished installing my drivers and I also installed zone, and avg and HL and CS.
Everything was going good until I reset my computer a 2 days ago. When my comp booted up it said I couldn't find a keyboard.....later I figured out that it was my USB ports not working.
The thing is, that all 4 at the back of the comp don't work but also the 2 that are on the front of the case. I have set my bios to factory default and that didn't do anything. I also made sure that the USB's were enabled in the bios after I reset it. I also deleted all the USB entrys in the device manager and restarted and Windows reinstalled the necessary drivers but that still didn't work. Oh and I unplugged the 2 USB's in the front of my case and plugged in a USB add in card and that doesn't work either.
EDIT: OH and I also took out my little lithium battery and stuck it back in and that didn't work either! : (
I have Windows XP sp2 on my comp. And a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/Sli Mobo.
My Mobo is 3 years old now....is it just dying on me?
Any help would be great! Thanks!
