all lights (Num,Caps,scroll locks) flashing on keyboard?

First off im using an emachine computer i know nothing more at the moment. my friend came to me with this problem, and with no response from the keyboard. I am o the cpu as we speak using on-screen keyboard... so if any suggestions let me know ty.

btw i have the model # : emachine T6536

everything is standard nothing changed or modified.

Have you tried a different keyboard? Or tried using a USB keyboard instead of a PS2?
