Airlink101 802.11g Wireless Cardbus/PCI Adapter

this wireless adapter has been giving me problems like ****. it always/randomly cuts out. when im downloading something it cuts out every couple mins.. when it does, my computer freezes for a couple seconds and unfreezes then refreezes and will continue in that pattern until i disable/repair it. idk a ton about computer but know enough to navigate them well and understand wtf ppl are talking about. im running Windows XP media center edition/service pack 3. and my comp: core 2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz 2.00GB of ram., idk what other info is needed, so just ask. i know im just gonna be recommended to buy another adapter but i really dont want to if i can fix it so if you can please help me.

Just get a new adapter. I had this same kind of problem about 5 months ago on my parents' computer. Just bought a new one, and all well.

Are you using a PCI card or USB? Or what do you want? Has to be compatible with XP, as the newest ones only go back to Vista.
