Well i got some free stuff and decided to upgrade a bit, so i went out and bought a cheapo jetway motherboard, well everything went fine until i wanted to set up my graphics card. i put the card correctly into the slot, made sure the bios would read that first, so on. well i go and power the computer up and nothing comes out. i dont know why.

so i went and threw in an older pci card, change the bios, yada yada. then i flip the power and it works... kinda! about 10-200 seconds into windows the computer locks up.

so i had my suspicion the entire time, maybe the integrated graphics arnt disabling. so i went and searched the bios for a way to turn it off, no matter what i looked thro no obvious means of shutting it off where seen!

i have a jetway PM8000BMS mother board.

can some one please tell me how to get this agp card to work:confused:

so the Jetway motherboard supports AGP and PCI cards?
while using onboard graphics, plug the video card in, while still using the onboard go to the BIOS and enable the AGP or PCI card then turn off the system plug the VGA or DVI cord in and boot her up, then go to BIOS again and disable the onboard, save and exit

might be also a weak power supply, what are specs of the system?
