got the pc/caller id bug, tired of running to see "unavailable" or whatever.
i have a D-11561 Modem ( soft modem ) with Agere ( use to be lucent) SV92PL-T00 chip set
so i have been told this is caller id compatable ? type-1 caller id
if i use the command +PCW=0
Do I add this command in where it says something like "add extra commands" in the modems props in system\hardware\devices ?
..or do i have to somehow run the command b4 i start the caller id ? once i load the command do i ever have to load again ?
what i hope to accomplish is to be using the pc and when the phone rings the caller name and number pops up. I have broadband so i only would use the moden for caller id and an occasional send fax. I also have several caller id softwares.
