acer monitor died (grey screen with lines)

Which model is yours, Mine is a Acer AL1914 and still kicking, Good color on it still, Just hate not having the wide screen when using it LOL.

my old 22 inch now is a acer x223w and my new one is this Acer UM.FG6AA.A01 G246HL ABD 24 Class LED Monitor - 1920 x 1080, 100000000:1 Dynamic, 1000:1 Native, 5ms, VGA, DVI, Energy Star at TigerDirect.com

and my old 19 inch is a AL1916W

LOL I'm on a P223W now and still going strong, Don't even know how long I've had it

well I may have spoke too soon about that monitor being fixed I woke up this morning and it went grey again. I switched out the power cord no luck but when I grabbed the back of the monitor and the bottom of the screen and shook it it started working again. So I have no idea maybe the vga cable but I am doubtful

ok so I replaced the vga cable and power cable and still no luck but heres a little video of me demonstrating the issue. If I apply pressure to the top segment of the screen and hold it it works fine but if I let go the picture freezes and slowly fades to white and grey
