Default Access Privileges

Gday, my pc is having problems so i ended up needing to re-install windows to fix the problem because repair wouldnt work.

after i had reinstalled windows i wanted to backup my stuff and then format and start with a clean drive. whilst i was backing up documents and settings it wouldnt let me open the folder that had all of my stuff in it because i didnt have enough priviledges.

i have seen software that changes the permissions so that the privileges thing dont happen, does anyone know of any of this type of software?

thanx, Cameron

Send a message via MSN to FlashDude

If on the original system you had installed a password and selected make files private it then encrypts your files and the easiest way to get by this is to make the other machine the same user name and password.
