abit mobo, P4 overheating...

i keep getting an alarm sounding when i do anything more intense than web browsing... watching videos, opening large graphics and just about everthing else seems to quickly overheat my computer. sitting idle it hovers around 71*C and goes to as high as 84* in a matter of minutes.

what do i need? better heatsink? more fans? please help.

I would take your heatsink off, clean it. put some AS5 on it and make sure no air gets in the mix when you place it on the cpu, make sure not to move it around.
