No man this is not your fans it this crap board. My config:
A8V-E SE
AMD 3500+
1G DDR 400 (2-2-2)
80Gbx2 SATA in RAID1
Asus 7900GT VGA

I have big aluminium case with 6 fans and all. I had plenty of other boards working there with no probs. Bios states my CPU temp at 48c.

I have the same problems you got. All tests appears to work but games are getting stuck with ominous sound loop and blue screen later.

I have the same memory and CPU working for over a year on other mobo, so they are not the suspect, maybe its the VGA but I doubt it.

Change the latency settings for your RAM from "manual" to "auto".

However, I dont see how it should help as the memtest worked for about 2hours without any errors.
