Hello,

My specs:
Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 2
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (Box), 2200Mhz, Winchester
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe, nVIDIA nForce4 SLI, AMD Hammer, BIOS Rev. 1016
MSI NVIDIA GeForce NX6800GT 256MB
RAM:
2x http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/configurator/partsinfo.asp?ktcpartno=KVR400X64C3A/512
1x http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/configurator/partsinfo.asp?ktcpartno=KVR400X64C3A/1G

Okay, my problem here is my RAM. I had 2 sticks of that above mentioned 512MB RAM and now I've bought the lastly mentioned 1G RAM stick to pair it with. I made a search for Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe compatible RAM at www.kingston.com and got both of my RAMs on that search. Now, I've tested them both separately and they both work fine. Together, however, I only see either 1024MB, 512MB or 1536MB RAM... depending on the RAM stick config in the slots A1, B1, A2, B2. I haven't tried that many combinations really, as I wanted to ask here first whether there exists some problem with having 2x512MB sticks and one 1024MB stick at the same time. So, what slot combination is it for these to work simultaneously? Or do I need to buy another 1024MB RAM stick to compensate for having 2x512MB? Any advice is appreciated.

Regards,
Tom
